Exposure to mobile phones is associated with reduced motility and viability of spermatozoa.

 

This 2014 study conducted using 1492 samples shows that exposure to mobile phones is associated with reduced motility and viability of spermatozoa. This could be due to increased levels of oxidative stress, causing DNA fragmentation, and also an increase in temperature of the testes, reducing spermatogenesis.
